Love is All You Need
A short film entitled “Love is All You Need?” uses real life events in an alternate universe to explore if “heterophobia” were real.
“Love” creator and director K.Rocco Shields uses intolerance, bullying and suicide to depict what the world would be if being gay was the norm and straight people were in the minority. The film has already won a total of 19 film festival awards.
This is such a beautifully made and touching video. I remember when I first saw it several months ago (and posted about it on my own blog as well here: http://wp.me/povXa-Ol ), it made me think about what WOULD happen if roles were reversed.. and my own answer was that it probably would be just like this video. It’s all about which group is in the forefront and how afraid they would be of anything that isn’t the ‘norm’.
Anyway, it’s good to see this video still being shared, as I think it’s something everyone should see. It may help open some people’s eyes.
